Witch’s Fire Folktales (Online)
My family has a famous story about my grandmother almost getting guillotined.
Mother of four boys in a minuscule flat, she was believed to have aborted (illegal in 1930 France, and punished by the death penalty).
What actually happened was : she suffered a miscarriage.Got denounced by her neighbours. Got Interrogated by the police. But she lived to tell the tale.
When things get rocky I tend to turn to this kind of tale.
How do we get through the fire?
We’ll be following the tracks of a great Slavic witch to reflect on our own moments of challenge, unique and so universal.

The Chase | Temples of Baba Yaga #3
Experiential dive into the terror of being chased, and the gifts that wait under the fear.
What do you run away from?
Perhaps Fear? Death? Success? Vulnerability?
We meet that primal question tonight in Baba Yaga’s turf, her initiation gates that promise both fertility and death.
We will explore together the power we give to the Monster, the archetypal Chaser that comes to destroy us, and what we can learn through the terror when we slow down enough to feel it all.
Come for experiments in facing the fear.
Blindfold Ritual | Temples of Baba Yaga #2
Ritual of blindfolded meetings - part of a series of Temples designed to experience pivotal moments in fairytales.
This Blindfold Temple follows an instruction often found in Baba Yaga’s stories :
When lost, a hand will give you a ball of thread and say : “Follow the thread, wherever it may roll.”
Go anywhere. Just get moving.
What you seek will find you, sooner or later.
Even when comes the time to get married - the same flavour. “Marry the first one to ask for your hand”, or the one closest to the falling arrow. Frequently, who you met there will at first look like a bear, a falcon, a frog…
But someone will shake their head to your doubts and firmly say that this is indeed the perfect match.
Let fate deal out its perfect hand.
This temple is a place to follow the thread.
Without the boxes of the mind, the veils of the eye.
Let what you seek find you.
Bathing Ritual | Temples of Baba Yaga #1
Bathing Ritual following the path of Baba Yaga stories.
We gather to welcome our bodies into a gentle cleansing ritual - allowing ourselves to be washed and resourced.

“For a long time the maiden drowned in bitter tears; she spent many sleepless nights by the window of her chamber (…)
Finally she went to her father with tears in her eyes and asked for his blessing.“I’m going, I don’t know where,” she said. “
